New Delhi: Congress president Rahul Gandhi has blamed Back Priest Arun Jaitley for not advising the researching organizations of Vijay Mallya's wants to escape the nation in spite of meeting the outlaw specialist amid the Spending session of Parliament in 2016.

"The Back Pastor is lying. On the off chance that an absconder revealed to Mr Jaitley he is going to London, for what reason did the FM not uncover this to the researching organizations," Rahul said amid a public interview at the gathering base camp in Delhi.

Congress president's announcement was gone before by a short mediation by party MP PL Punia who vouched having seen Mallya addressing the FM in the focal lobby of Parliament.

"I was sitting in the focal corridor when I saw them (Jaitley and Mallya) remaining in the corner and talking. The gathering endured 15-20 minutes. Also, you can check every one of the media records wherever I have talked on the issue after Mallya's escape, I have specified having seen the two addressing each other," Punia guaranteed.

Refering to Punia's announcement, Rahul inquired as to why "the FM did not reveal his gathering with Mallya".

"Absconder reveals to FM that I am going to London, yet FM doesn't illuminate ED, CBI. Arun Jaitley needs to tell the truth whether he did this all alone or at the command of the man at the simple best," the Congress president said.

Turning out after the removal hearing at the Westminster Officers' Court on Wednesday, Mallya guaranteed he had met Jaitley before leaving the nation. Jaitley promptly issued an announcement to deny his cases.

"I cleared out India since I had a planned gathering in Geneva. Before leaving, I met the Back Priest and offered to settle (the issue with the banks)," Mallya stated, without naming the priest.

Mallya's cases welcomed a sharp response from Jaitley, who said the announcement is "false". In a Facebook blog entry, Jaitley expressed: "My consideration has been attracted to an announcement made to the media by Vijay Mallya on having met me with an offer of settlement. The announcement is really false in as much as it doesn't reflect truth (sic)."
